It is funny how the body and mind adjust to different environments. Here it feels cold, with 18 degrees (Celsius!). Back home this would be a decent summer day.
In that light I want to show you a great re-composition of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. This particular composition is put together by Max Richter (you might know him from his music in Shutter Island).
He claims to have thrown 75% of Vivaldi’s original works overboard. Despite that you can definitely recognise the original, this version just has a more modern and minimalistic touch.
Not often are recomposed works of music masters any better than the original, but Richter does an awesome job here.
