We all know Skinny Love. Birdy made the song popular, but the original song is by Bon Iver -Pronounced Bon E-ver. Not Bon Eye-ver…just to get that straight.
Anyways, if you are already familiar with Bon Iver that is awesome. More reason to enjoy their lesser known Take Away Show.
For the second half of Syntropic Sunday let’s talk a bit about illness and being sick. Yes, not the most exciting subject, I know. But bear with me.
Until I discovered the power your thoughts have over your reality, I thought illness was something that randomly happened to people. Now I see it differently. I rarely get ill any more, because I changed my thinking towards illness.
If I do get sick though, I take it as a sign there is some kind of unbalance or unresolved issue in my life and way of thinking. When I explore my mind I often find a disruptive chain of thought and try and deal with it. I see what is going on in my mind and let it be. Usually I feel better within no time.
You can call it placebo effect. I don’t really care what it is called. If it works it works, that’s what matters.
